Breast Reconstruction (DIEP Flap)

• Patient underwent a bilateral mastectomy and breast reconstruction with another plastic surgeon. Her procedures included placement of bilateral silicone gel implants and nipple areola complex reconstruction

• She was not satisfied with her reconstruction and wanted a more natural option

• Dr. Vemula performed a bilateral implant removal followed by a bilateral Deep Inferior Epigastric Artery Perforator (DIEP) Flap breast reconstruction

• Patient also had nerve grafting for re-sensation

• After the patient was fully healed, she received 3 sessions of 3D nipple tattooing
